I'm feeling like things have been a little too healthy over here this week, so I decided to take it up a notch with these Bacon Weave Choco Tacos!
What is a Choco Taco you ask? It is one of the best desserts in the entire world. It consists of a waffle cone taco shell that’s filled with vanilla ice cream and fudge and then topped with milk chocolate and peanuts. If you’ve never eaten one you’re seriously missing out.
But, this one is even better because instead of a waffle cone, the "taco" is Bacon Weeave! Chocolate covered bacon has been done before, as have bacon weave taco shells, but until now they’ve never been combined to make a Bacon Weave Choco Taco!
Start by weaving a bacon square, cooking it, cutting it into a circle and then hang it over a few kabob sticks so it will keep its shape. Bake the shell until crispy, let it cool down a bit and then fill it with a vanilla ice cream (or your favorite flavor).
Leave ice cream filled bacon weave shell in the freezer for about 30 minutes to harden back up, melt some milk chocolate and poured it over the top and then sprinkle pieces of peanuts over the melted chocolate. After another half hour in the freezer the chocolate will harden and your Bacon Choco Taco is ready to eat!!
