In honor of September being National Mushroom month, and it being Labor Day Weekend, I decided I am going to make this today.
This recipe is absolutely delicious. Trust me, have more mushrooms and bacon on hand. Every time I make these, I always have to make more!!!
24 medium fresh mushrooms
12 bacon strips, halved
1 cup BBQ Sauce
Wrap each mushroom with a piece of bacon; secure with a toothpick. Thread onto metal or soaked bamboo skewers; brush with BBQ Sauce. Grill, uncovered, over indirect medium heat for 10-15 minutes or until the bacon is crisp and the mushrooms are tender. Turn and baste occasionally with remaining barbecue sauce.
