I am starting to find recipes to try out for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. This one is very rich, and would definitely be better as a side dish and not a main course.
Ingredients:
•1/2 butternut squash (cooked)
•1 egg
•3 tbsp butter
•1/4 cup maple syrup
•Bacon (chopped)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400. Combine all the ingredients into a big bowl and mix well. The mixture will seem soupy. Cook in a greased pan for 25 minutes.
You really don't need to wait for Thanksgiving, since it is the season for this wonderful vegetable and Bacon! (when is it NOT- BACON season...LOL)
