This seems to be the new craze: take big chunks of pork belly, cook it up – usually in a delicious glaze – stick it on a stick like a lollipop and voila, dinner! I have seen these in two different restaurants in the past month…I smell a trend…looks like just wrapping Bacon around anything and everything isn’t enough anymore…Sure, these look good, but they might be a bit “fancy”…sometimes you just want something more SIMPLE…like your butt on a stick!
Yesterday was National Something on A Stick Day- I am liking this idea, but could sure use a recipe- anyone willing to share one?
